Before and After

Before

After...

...six weeks of planning, rototilling, digging, and planting.
Two apple trees, one cherry tree, two blueberry bushes, one Japanese Maple, one quaking aspen, assorted flower plants, and SIXTY bags of cedar bark mulch...

I have learned that a garden is like a child.

You never feel like you've done enough

but when you aren't looking things start to bloom.

I love your birdie blog background!

Your new garden looks beautiful. Hopefully it will reward you with lots of lush coolness over the summer.

And the pic of your girl in the previous post is so beautiful.

I am glad I stopped by to get caught up!

It looks awesome! Yay!

It is just like a child, huh? You plant, tend, water, feed, give it all you've got, and then hope it all takes root and grows.

XO

P.S. I LOVE your comment today at The Jason Show.

I love your backyard and I am totally lusting after that fence. Here, that kind of fence? No...first small typhoon and "bye bye". I want that fence.
