What do you pack when you are jumping into the abyss?
Yes, it's a melodramatic analogy, but bear with me.
Eventually all of us will stand at the edge... it's not always a bad thing.. but when we stand there, looking into the unknown, we make choices about what we are taking with us.
A parachute slows things down, gives us time to experience the fall, time to (oh horrors!) feel something. Not my preferred choice of travel! Packing an anvil is the quickest way to the bottom.
Of course, there are some unfortunate side effects to travelling downward with an anvil. Just ask Wile E. Coyote. Eventually someone is going to have to sort out the mess. I guess that's what I'll be doing here.

You've done it!! Congratulations! I like the idea too, of parachute or anvil. I vacillate wildly between the two. If anything, I have become somewhat bipolar and unbalanced over the years. I think I used to be a parachute person.
Anyway, I digress. So glad to see your blog; I do think you will love it. I have you bookmarked!
Love you!

Am I bugging you yet?
