Coffee Girl....

You Are a Double Espresso

Hey Energizer Bunny Girl! Do you ever slow down?
You're a mix of high energy and ambition, perfectly matched with strong espresso
When you want something you get it - by any means possible
You're driven, determined, and no nonsense. Which is just how you like your java.

Energizer Bunny Girl! Ha!

I'm more like a banana slug in a pink costume being dragged through an obstacle course of daily chores.

'Nuf said... I'm off to do about five hours of "work" (as opposed to household chores), then I'll de-christmas the house, plan a menu for next week, fold the laundry, and make sure the kids have done their homework.

Or maybe I'll sit here and finish reading The Pillars of the Earth and pretend like the pink drum isn't beating.

I am so glad that, despite your recent illness, that you have been declared an Energizer Bunny Girl!

I hope when you read this, you have done no chores and are still reading your book.

I wish! However, the work stuff had to be done because the week I took off left a huge stack of stuff on my desk that was driving me crazy. But I didn't fold the laundry or plan a menu and now I'm settling in to read and relax while dinner cooks.

Hey Gina, how do you like The Pillars of the Earth? I read that book a few years ago and loved it.

I think it's very enjoyable, however I've been a bit bothered by the similarities to Thomas Hardy's Jude the Obscure. Not that it makes the book bad, it's just distracting to me.

That looks like some book. If I could only get to read more than a chapter every month or so, I should really try to pick that one up!
Banana slug in a pink costume... what imagery!
I've tagged you for a New year's Challenge, if you feel up to it!
