I've decided to throw caution to the wind and sign up for both. No, I'm not losing my mind. I have serious doubts that I'll complete either one but, for the month of November, I am committed to writing a novel and posting to this blog every day. Why am I doing this? I guess to prove that I can. I have been saying for the last twenty years that I want to write, I just don't have enough time. However, I'm finally beginning to see that I will never have enough time. The world isn't going to stop for me so I'm just going to have to thumb my nose at it and do what I want. This is what I want and I'm going to do it!

Oh cool! I was just working on my page over there. I'm not quite sure why I'm doing that when I really should be writing here but I started trying to add a picture and ended up spending far too much time messing around with it. Now it's 7:30, I haven't done anything constructive with my morning and I'm out of time. However, I have actually posted a picture of myself. Scary! I had to go all the way back to my 40th birthday to find one.
